opportunity for partnering with a EMS provider that brings a proactive approach
to achieve mutual success. We have a dedicated prototyping facility to develop
lean processes using Value Stream Mapping from the supply chain through to the
customer’s customer, and provide a total solution to companies in every sector.
We are headquartered right outside of
Asheville, North Carolina with a dedicated proto/ NPI Business unit and a full
production facility with capabilities that specialize in complex projects in
all volumes. Whether customers need prototypes, board-level production or box
build, Nexus Technologies has a solution and we are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team.
This Is What You Will Be Doing!
-Creating
& issuing Work Orders.
-Scheduling & performing preventative maintenance, repairs, & improvements.
-Maintain
and coordinate Preventative Maintenance schedule.
-Coordinate
quotes for outside repairs or other services needed.
-Perform scheduled maintenance for SMT, solder-wave, through-hole and conformal coat manufacturing equipment.
-Examine machines to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments.
-Support Manufacturing engineering with programming and NPI processes.
-Accountable for inventory of tools and materials used to complete maintenance tasks.
-Perform facility maintenance as required.
-Other duties as assigned.

-Strong interpersonal and organization skills.

Communicator both written and verbally
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and cross functional teams.
-Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional travel.

Associates
or Bachelors in Electronics or Industrial / Process Engineering Education equivalent.
